Bjarni has been writing code and slinging servers since the mid-90s, including a 6 year stint fighting spam and viruses and 3 years behind the scenes on Google's site reliability team.

All this time Bjarni's passion has been Free Software and Digital Freedom and in 2010 he received the Nordic Free Software award for his dedication.

Smári is on the board of the International Modern Media Institute, a skilled programmer and a prominent member of the Icelandic Pirate Party.

He is also a sought after speaker who travels to far away lands, teaching journalists and activists how to communicate securely on-line.

Brennan Novak thrives on solving challenging interface design & user experience design problems.

Brennan has contracted for large companies like Nike & Intel, but prefers contributing his design & engineering talents to interesting startups like LittleBird & meaningful open source movements like the IndieWeb. Fixing email is right up his alley.
